In the beginning ETFs were invented and created Bunker Bitch T Shirt track indices. By default then they were index funds. There are actively managed ETFs, the original ETFs tracked indices but that is not true anymore. You are incorrect that they allow better price discovery, the optimal price of the ETF is the net asset value of the underlying securities, mutual funds are priced once a day but you pay the NAV, ETFs on the other hand trade above or below the NAV, usually it’s close but sometimes it can be wide. They allowed the convenience of real time trading when the market was open and more efficient price discovery compared to mutual funds which only price once per day after market close. They also allow for potentially lower cost transaction fees (especially now that the zero commission trades are vogue).

Best Bunker Bitch T Shirt
I agree with your statement that a solid investment plan is better than Bunker Bitch T Shirt but considering that you bought the dip in April, it’s not really a comparison? I wouldn’t recommend anyone to only buy one stock but if I had invested 100% of my portfolio in Apple during the same time you did I would have gained an even higher % of return.Agreed! I mean, really if you held and bought through, this year will be the foundation for so many investors lives. Good on ya for sticking through. It was undoubtedly my best year as well and I do a personal rendition of the 3 “fund” portfolio, VTI/VXUS/BTC. BTC has been my bond play for past 5 years.Sure. Don’t try to time the market. Open a Vanguard Roth IRA and put in $6,000 each year (the max allowed) into VTSAX, either as one lump sum or $500/month. Let this money keep growing for 40 years, and keep investing the Roth IRA max each year into your VTSAX fund. When you retire all this money will have grown tax free and you will owe no taxes when you withdraw it. VTSAX has insanely low fees. You will retire a millionaire and owe no taxes.
