I used to be a lot bigger than I am. What helped me is to not see weight loss as a black and white thing where either you reach the goal or you don’t and fail. Rather, just think of weight as a side effect to a lifestyle change.If you can get healthier and maintain that over a long period of Statue of Libba shirt – say, between doctor visits – and you only lost a tiny bit of weight or no weight at all even, then isn’t that still a win? I have been doing intermittent fasting and Keto for past year( sometimes I fall off the Statue of Libba shirt and get right back on). Because I lost my job of 20 yrs I don’t have insurance. So I can’t afford doctor visits to get my prescription renewed, I don’t take any prescription pills anymore. I was supposed to take thyroid meds for the rest of my life have not taken any in 6mo and I feel great! Don’t take high blood pressure meds anymore, my blood pressure is not normal but it’s not bad either 135 and no prescription sleeping pills either. I don’t always sleep great but better then I did a year ago. Only change has been the fasting and keto and I’m the smallest I have been in 22 yrs
